MRS. GLENN ADAMS OF RED OAK DIES

Mrs. Glenn A. Adams of Red Oak, a former resident of the Winterset community, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Northwest hospital in Des Moines. She was 72 years of age.

Mrs. Adams was the former Letha M. Adams, daughter of John Quincy and Martha Lucas Adams, and was born at Medora, Iowa, on Sept. 19, 1897.

She was married at Winterset, on Dec. 25, 1917, to Glenn A. Adams of this community. They lived here for several years after their marriage.

She was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Donald E. Adams of Des Moines and Wayne M. Adams of West Des Moines; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Alma Adams of San Carlos, Calif.

Funeral services were held here Friday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Newton Coughenour, pastor of the First United Methodist church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
