MRS. BEN HENRY OF WINTERSET DIES

Mrs. Ben Henry, a long-time resident of Madison county, died at her home in Winterset Thursday, Oct. 1, at the age of 82 years. The death was listed as a suicide.

Mrs. Henry was a native of Ackley, Iowa, where she was born July 9, 1888, a daughter of Theodore and Anna Schoeneich. As a young woman she taught school for 20 years in the towns of Grand Junction, Dows, Monticello, and Winterset.

She was married June 28, 1927, to Ben Henry, who survives her. She also leaves a son, Duane Henry, of San Diego, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday from the First United Methodist church of Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Newton M. Coughenour. Burial was made at Ackley.
