Lizzie Myrtle Cook was born in Madison county May 23, 1882, and died at her home at Valley Junction June 10, 1920, aged 38 years and 17 days. She was united in marriage June 6, 1905 to Harry Ross. To this union was born eight children, who with the husband survive her. Beside these she leaves an aged mother, two sisters, one brother and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
She united with the Christian church at Kasson. Several years after moving to Valley Junction she changed her membership to this church but owing to ill health and home duties she was unable to attend regularly.
