IRA COX

Ira Cox, son of E. J. and Amanda Cox was born November 18, 1889 at Swan, Iowa and passed away at Indianola, Iowa on May 20, 1987 at the age of 97 years, six months and two days.

Ira was united in marriage to Hannah Blohm of Dexter 71 years ago on July 33, 1915. To this union five children were born.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret and a son, Lawrence.

He leaves to mourn, his wife and surviving children, George of Des Moines, Christine of Council Bluffs and Ramona of Elma.

Funeral services were held May 23, 1987 at the McKee Funeral Home, Dexter, Iowa with Reverend Al Polito, Jr. officiating. Interment was in Dexter cemetery, Dexter, Iowa.
