Winterset, Iowa

Word comes that Dr. Hawkins, husband of Flora, daughter of Wm. Pitzer, committed suicide at the home of Mr. Pitzer, in Kansas. Dr. Hawkins and wife had retired. During the night he shot himself in the head with a pistol, his wife lying by his side.
