LORIMOR FUNERAL FOR DELLA WELCH

Mrs. Henry (Della) Welch, 77, of Lorimor died at the Crest Haven nursing home at Creston Jan. 17, 1970.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 20, at the Lorimor Methodist church, with Rev. James E. Siebert, officiating. Burial was in the Greenfield cemetery.

Della Irene Harris was born Feb. 21, 1892 in Adair county, the daughter of Filmore and Martha Harris. She grew up and attended school in Adair county, and was married to Henry Welch at Greenfield, Jan. 30, 1924. In 1934 they moved to a farm near Earlham in Madison County. They moved to the Lorimor community in 1952 where she resided until her death.

To this union were born four children, 3 sons and one daughter. Mrs. Welch is survived by her husband, Henry and children, Donald of Winterset, Howard of Greenfield, Dale of Winterset, and Irene Barber of Houston, Texas, and one brother, Howard Harris of Creston, and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
