Little Sammy Berwick, a nine year old son of Mrs. Berwick's, a widow lady living in the south part of town, accidentally shot himself last Monday morning with a revolver. He got up Monday morning and took a revolver which was kept under the pillow of the bed, and was playing with it, when it was accidentally discharged, and the ball passed through his left lung, going entirely through his body and a board partition that he was standing in front of. It is not known how it became discharged. The boy is in a critical condition and will most likely die.

Sammy Berwick, who accidentally shot himself several days ago, died last Monday afternoon from the effects of the wound. The funeral took place Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock.
