MRS. EVA CLAMPITT DIES

Mrs. Eva Clampitt, long-time Adair county resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 14th at the Peterson Nursing home in Winterset at the age of 80 years. Mrs. Clampitt, who suffered a severe stroke in May 1945, had been bedfast since that time. She was brought to Winterset for treatment last July.

Funeral services for Mrs. Clampitt will be held at the Bickford funeral home in Greenfield Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Mrs. Clampitt is survived by three children; Mrs. A. W. Connell of Greenfield, Mrs. L. E. Fox of Red Oak and Mrs. J. D. Haney of Creston. She also leaves a number of grandchildren, one of whom, Mrs. Wendel Nelson, resides in Winterset.
