The funeral of Mr. Toole, an old and respected resident formerly of this place took place at St. Patrick cemetery Monday. He died at his home in Omaha, Neb.

Mr. Toul, formerly of this place, who died at his home in Omaha, was brought back to Bevington and buried in the family lot in the St. Patrick cemetery.
________________________Coordinator's note: This is believed to be Thomas O'Tool. He and his family lived in Crawford Township, Madison County, Iowa from about 1856 through about 1875 and is the only "Toole" or "O'Tool" known to have lived for any length in Madison County. They are found in various vital records as "Tool", "Toole", "Torell", "OTool" and "O'Toole". Three of their children are buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery under the name "O'Tool".
