Patterson: Mrs. Rebecca Land, sister of J. W. and Cyrus Crossley, died on Wednesday morning at her home in Hastings, Nebraska. The remains were brought to Des Moines, her former home, on Friday and interment made at that place.

Geo. W. Crossley of Ashley, Indiana and Mrs. Jos. Gier of Auburn, Indiana, are visiting relatives in this vicinity, having been called here by the death of their sister, Mrs. Rebecca Land, who was buried in Des Moines on last Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Crossley, Cyrus Crossley, Mrs. Elizabeth Crossley, Mrs. E.H. Miles, and Mrs. Jennie Disbro of Oregon City, Oregon, went to Des Moines, Friday, to attend the funeral of Mrs. Land,
