We were wrongly advised last week in regard to Mr. W. F. George, of Jackson township. We are glad to say that the old gentleman is still living, and is able to converse with his friends without much difficulty.

W. F. George, one of the largest farmers in Madison county, died last week at his home in Jackson township, after a long spell of sickness.

Note: W. F. George is buried in the Winterset cemetery.
