Billy D. McVay, St. Charles

Billy D. McVay, 46, of St. Charles died February 1, 2001 of heart failure at his home. Funeral services were February 5 at the St. Charles Parish with interment at the St. Charles cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.

He was born at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas and had lived in the St. Charles area most of his life. He was a 1972 graduate of Interstate 35 High School and worked as a concrete laborer for Alexander Construction of Winterset.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela of St. Charles; two sons, Lance and Kyle both of St. Charles; mother, Sue McVay of Des Moines; step-mother, JoAnn McVay of St. Charles; and one brother, Bob McVay of Des Moines.
