ACHIE PALMER - Obituary

Archie Palmer was born in Woodford county, Illinois, Feb 11, 1876. At the age of fourteen he moved with his parents to Iowa. He departed this life at his home near Earlham, Oct 25, 1913, aged 37 years, nine months and fourteen days.

He had been in failing health several years, but was only confined to his bed five weeks. During this time he bore his suffering and affliction with patience.

On Feb 6, 1901, he was united in marriage with Miss Ollie Shaver. To this union were born two children, Geneva and William Henry, ages twelve and nine years. These with a loving companion, father, mother, four brothers and four sisters, are left to mourn the loss of one so dear to them.

His sun went down in the prime of life. The funeral services were held at Fairview church, Monday, Oct 27th at two o'clock. A large concourse of people were present to pay a last tribute to this young man, who died in the prime of life. Rev. Stribling of Earlham, conducted the service.
