The funeral of Jud. Osborn will be preached at Peru, Sunday, Oct. 8th at 10 1/2 o'clock a.m. by Rev. F. R. Morey of Winterset.

On Last Thursday afternoon Mr. Jud Osborn who has been living some eight miles south of Winterset died very suddenly and under circumstances calculated to excite suspicion. On the following day a coroner's jury was summoned and an inquest held. A post mortem examination revealed the fact that the deceased came to his death by apoplexy.
