Mrs. Jacob Myers received word last Friday, February 9th of the death of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. C. W. Myers of Ambrose, North Dakota. Before moving to Dakota the family lived for several years on a farm, southwest of Winterset, or near Macksburg. Funeral services were held Monday, February 12th, at the Presbyterian church in Ambrose.

The community was shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mrs. C. W. Myers, following a heart attack Friday morning at the hospital. Mrs. Myers was recovering from a fractured shoulder which she sustained three weeks ago when thrown from a sleigh at the church door and was about to be discharged when she was stricken, living only a few minutes.
Mayo Florella Myers was born April 7, 1877, at Centerville, Iowa, and passed away at Ambrose, North Dakota, February 9, 1934 at the age of 56 years, 10 months and 2 days.
Mrs. Myers grew to womanhood in Iowa and on December 28, 1899 married C. W. Myers living for several years at Winterset, Iowa. They later moved to Mount Vernon, South Dakota, where they resided for ten years, before coming to Ambrose in 1915.
When 13 years of age she united with the Methodist church and has always been identified with the Presbyterian church and Sunday school since coming to Ambrose.
She leaves, besides her husband, seven children, namely: Arthur, Alva, Mrs. Ole Nygaard, Mrs. Sonder Torgeson, Nettie and Lillie, all of Ambrose and Millard of Ludden, North Dakota, and also one sister in Kansas.
The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church Monday at 2 p. m. with Mr. Korthal in charge.
