Lee Goodrich, daughter of Donald Hawley and Helen Cordelia Goodrich, was born in Akron,Colorado on June 27, 1923. She was brought home to Nelson, Nebraska at the age of two months, where she grew up. After she attended Nebraska Wesleyan University for two years, Lee taught school in Nebraska for three years.

On August 14, 1946 Lee married Von Fletcher and moved to Earlham. They became the parents of four children: Richard Von, Roger Dean, David Ray and Sue Ann.

Lee was a member of the Earlham United Methodist church, Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Music Boosters. At different times she was a Cub Scout den mother.

After a very short illness, Lee passed away the night of December 23, 1973 at her home in Earlham. She was preceded in death by her father.

She leaves her husband, mother, brother Don B., her children, nieces and nephews.
