Carol (Beaman) Damron, 56, died Thursday, July 19, at Methodist Hospital. Funeral Services will be 5 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. Friends may call after Noon Sunday where family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.

Carol was a 1969 graduate from Adel-DeSoto High School, and attended several colleges, eventually obtaining masters degrees in mathematics and computer science from the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

Carol’s many hobbies included gardening, flowers, weaving, teaching piano, e-mailing her friends and most of all, working with the residents at DCCF in the computer classroom.

She is survived by her parents; Russell and Ruth Beaman of De Soto; brother, Harold Beaman of Indianola; two sisters, Kathy Clubb of Sigourney, and Chris Ioli of Virginia; nephews, Gary and Nathan Clubb; and nieces, Brooke and Alyssa Beaman and Nicole Ioli.

She will also be missed by her cats, Dottie, Sadie and Mugsley. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Perry 515-480-4099.
