ULYSSES S. KELLOGG DIES IN COLORADO

Ulysses S. Kellogg, a former resident of Madison county, died Saturday, April 26 at LaJunta, Colo., according to word received here by his cousin Frank Kellogg of Winterset.

Mr. Kellogg was 83 years of age. He was a son of Butler and Ruth Cole Kellogg and spent his early life in this community. For many years he had lived in the Colorado city where his death occurred.

He is survived by his wife, who was the former Nettie Peacock. He also leaves two sons, Nile Kellogg of Chicago and Orville Kellogg of California and two daughters, Mrs. Celia Phelps of Villagreen, Colo., and Mrs. Erma Minneir of Pueblo, Colo.; in addition to six grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
