Long-Time Peru Resident Died March 30 at Carthage, Mo.
Mrs. Roy B. Hole, former resident of Peru, died Sunday, March 30 at Carthage, Mo., it was learned here last week.
Mrs. Hole was a native of Harlan, where she was born May 15, 1888. She was married to Roy Hole in Winterset in 1911. They established their home at Peru, living there 17 years before moving to Missouri.
She had been in failing health, since last September, and for the last nine weeks had been bedfast.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Everett Hole of Carthage; four daughters, Mrs. Maxine Stephens of Carthage, Mrs. Ruth Miller of Richland, Wash., Mrs. Susie Lloyd and Esther Hole at home. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Fosher of Winterset, and Mrs. Fern Cupp of Carthage; a brother, Dale Fenimore of Carthage; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 1 at the First Christian church in Carthage and burial was made in Park cemetery there.
