Funeral services for Perry Wallace Hayden, will be held this Thursday afternoon, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset.
Mr. Hayden, a life-long resident of Madison county, died Tuesday Oct. 7th at the Memorial hospital where he had been a patient the past eight days. He was 80 years of age.
The son of Nathaniel and Mahala Bradley Hayden, he was born in this county on Jan. 2, 1872.
He was a restaurant operator, both in Winterset and Peru, most of his life. His wife preceded him in death in 1933.
Officiating at the services this Thursday will be the Rev. Sherman Hanson. Burial will be made in the Peru cemetery.

Funeral services for Perry W. Hayden, long-time Madison county resident were held last Thursday from the Richards Funeral home. The services were conducted by the Rev. Sherman Hanson, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
Mr. Hayden was 80 years of age at his death. He was, for many years, engaged in the restaurant business in Peru and Winterset.
Nearest surviving relative is a daughter, Mrs. Roy Marsh of Arizona.
