Harry Fairholm, widely known Madison county resident for many years, died suddenly Wednesday about 10 a. m., at his home in Winterset. He was 65 years of age.
Mr. Fairholm had been in ill health for some time. He had been a patient at Memorial hospital since Nov. 30, but had gone home from the hospital last Saturday.
No funeral arrangements had been made as the Madisonian went to press.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Dale Fairholm of Minneapolis, Minn., L. A. Fairholm of Danbury, Conn., and Leo Fairholm of Los Angeles, Calif.; and a daughter, Mrs. G. T. Collins of Winterset.

Page 7SERVICES SATURDAY FOR H. R. FAIRHOLM
Funeral services for Harry R. Fairholm of Winterset, who died at his home here Dec. 10, were conducted from the Winterset Church of Christ last Saturday in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Sherman Hanson. Burial was made in the cemetery at Massena.
Mr. Fairholm was 65 years of age. He was born Oct. 27, 1887, in Douglas township. On Feb. 15, 1911, he was married to Marguerite A. Joy. He farmed for many years but for the past 10 years had engaged in selling seed corn.
He was a member of the Masonic order at Bridgewater and Evening Star lodge at Winterset. He was a long-time member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife; he leaves three sons, Leo R. Fairholm of Los Angeles, Calif., Dale Fairholm of Minneapolis, Minn., and Leo A. Fairholm of Danbury, Conn.; a daughter, Mrs. Joy Collins of Winterset; a brother, A. L. Fairholm of Earlham; two sisters, Mrs. C. R. Afflack of Earlham and Mrs. Dale A. Callison; and nine grandchildren.
