FLORENCE CURRIER DIES IN WASHINGTON

Mrs. Florence R. Currier, who lived many years in and near Winterset, died June 18, at Seattle, Wash., according to word reaching here this week.

Mrs. Currier was a native of Indiana, where she was born in Decatur in 1871, but came to Iowa as a child. She was married at Winterset in 1899 to Eugene B. Currier. After farming in this community for many years they moved to Des Moines and to the west coast in 1907. Her husband died in 1930.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Beery of Seattle and Mrs. Cora Fonzo of Coupville, Wash.; a grandson; a great grandson; and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Cord of Winterset and Mrs. Lee Clampitt of Greenfield.
