JOHN T. BUTTON DIES AT 84 YEARS

John T. Button, a former resident of Winterset, died recently at Adel. He was 84 years of age.

Mr. Button was born in Scotland county, Mo., on March 1, 1868. He came to Iowa with his parents as an infant. Most of his life was spent in or near Adel but he lived in this community about 20 years ago.

Surviving are the following children; Mrs. H. A. Harvey of Long Beach, Calif., Dewey Button of Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. O. D. Ellsworth, John, August and Clark Button, all of Adel. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. J. T. Garrison of Eldorado, Ill., and Mrs. F. D. Barndall of Des Moines; a brother, Robert A. Button of Adel; 21 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Methodist church at Adel and burial was made in the cemetery there.
