Retired Webster Township Farmer Was 70 Years of Age
Ora O. Brady, prominent Webster township farmer, died Christmas day, Dec. 25 at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 70 years of age.
Mr. Brady was born in Monroe township on Dec. 4, 1882. (son of Moses & Emma (Aikin) Brady). He was married Nov. 23, 1904 to Jessie E. Wilson. Sixty-five of his 70 years of life were spent in Madison county. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge at Macksburg and the Congregational church.
Surviving are his wife and two children, Mrs. Helen Vanderlinden of Marion and Harold Brady of Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
