Resident of Worthington Was 69 Years Age at Her Death Friday
Mrs. C. C. Clifton, a well known resident of the Worthington community died Friday, Nov. 6, at Davenport. She was 69 years of age.
Mrs. Clifton was the former Myrtle Alta Gulick, daughter of Sanford and Emma Gulick. She was born at Garrison June 26, 1884. Her marriage to Cecil C. Clifton took place Feb. 22, 1910. They were parents of one son, C. F. Clifton of Davenport.
She was a member of the Worthington Methodist church and was affiliated with the Royal Neighbors lodge.
In addition to her son, she leaves her husband; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Lynch of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Ralph Pendro of Provo, S. Dak.; and a brother, J. D. Gulick of Hampton.
Funeral services were held Sunday from Richards Funeral home conducted by the Rev. John Latta. Burial was made in Winterset cemetery.
