SERVICES FRIDAY FOR MRS. RAY HIRCOCK

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Winterset Christian church for Mrs. Ray Hircock, well known farm woman of near Winterset, whose death had occurred March 23 at Memorial hospital here. The Rev. Warren Hile, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Mrs. Hircock was 54 years of age at her death. She was the former Glee Ona Warren, daughter of Samuel J. and Mary Thurman Warren, and was born Jan. 27, 1901 in Madison county. She received her education in the rural schools of the county and attended Winterset high school.

She was married to Ray Hircock on March 19, 1919. With the exception of two years in Des Moines, their married life was spent in Winterset and on the farm south of here, which was her home at the time of her death.

She was affiliated with the Winterset Christian church and was an active member of Crown Rebekah lodge here and was a past Noble Grand of the group. She was active in the Scott Community circle and other community organizations.

She is survived by her husband; five children, Mrs. Ethel McMains and Mrs. Norma Day of Winterset, Mrs. Beverly Jeffs of Peru, Delbert Hircock of Des Moines and Billie Hircock at home; and 11 grandchildren.
