Well-Known Truro Buyer of Livestock Was Ill Briefly
E. N. (Ted) Fenimore, widely known Truro livestock buyer, died Monday, June 20, at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines, after a brief illness. He was 49 years of age.
Mr. Fenimore was a life-long resident of Madison county. He was born near Peru on Jan. 12, 1906 a son of Anderson and Hattie Fenimore. As a young man, he was married to Mary Fulton and they were parents of four children.
He was a member of the Truro Congregational Christian church and the Masonic lodge.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Richard, Ronald, and Vickie Fenimore; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Durfey of Truro; three brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services were set for this Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Truro Christian church, conducted by the Rev. Verne Willey of Sioux Rapids and the Rev. Walter Schilling of Truro. Burial was to be made in the Hartman cemetery.

Ted Fenimore Died at Des Moines Hospital Monday
E. N. (Ted) Fenimore, 49, prominent Truro livestock buyer, died at a Des Moines hospital early Monday morning. Services will be held at Truro Christian church Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. the Revs. Verne Willey of Sioux Rapids and Walter Schilling of Truro will officiate. Burial will be in Hartman cemetery, with Kale Funeral home in charge.
A lifetime resident of Madison county, he was born at Peru Jan. 12, 1906, the son of Anderson and Mattie Fenimore. He was married to Mary Fulton. Surviving children include three sons, Richard, Ronald, and Vickie of Truro and a daughter, Marjorie Durfey also of Truro. Other survivors include three brothers and five sisters. His parents preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Masonic lodge and Congregational Christian church.

E. N. Fenimore, Truro stock buyer, passed away in a Des Moines hospital Sunday night, June 19, after an illness of a few days duration.
Funeral services for E. N. Fenimore were held at the Congregational Christian church Wednesday at 1:30 p. m. in charge of the Rev. Verne Willey of Rock Rapids assisted by Rev. Walter Schilling. Burial was in the Hartman cemetery.
