WALTER L. VAN HOSEN DIES IN DES MOINES

Walter L. Van Hosen, a native of Madison county, died at Broadlawns hospital in Des Moines on November 12, 1957. He was born on a farm near St. Charles on November 11, 1871, the son of Ernestus and Sarah Carter Van Hosen. As a young man he went to Des Moines, where for many years he was employed at the Kirkwood Hotel. About twenty years ago he retired from his association with the Iowa Auto Market in Des Moines. He was married to Ora Dillon, who died in 1938.

Mr. Van Hosen leaves three brothers, O. B. Van Hosen of Des Moines; Kenneth and Ernest Van Hosen of Los Angeles; and two sisters, Mrs. Vera Trawver of Des Moines; and Mrs. Lorraine Bovee of Red Bluffs, California.

Funeral services were held at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines on Saturday, November 16 and interment at Glendale cemetery.
