Ralph Stiles Jr. Dies

Ralph Stiles, Junior, sixteen year old son of Ralph Stiles of Des Moines, died at the Broadlawns General hospital in Des Moines Tuesday evening, June 23rd. The boy became ill about seven weeks ago with emcaritis, an infection of the heart and nothing could be done to improve his condition.

Ralph Stiles formerly lived in Winterset, and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Cash Stiles, who was County Auditor for many years. The boy has made his home with his grandparents at their home on East Walnut street in Des Moines, since his mother died when he was a baby fifteen months old.

Funeral services are being held at the Hamilton funeral home in Des Moines, this afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be made in a Des Moines cemetery.

He leaves besides his father and grandparents, a half sister, Mary Lou.
