SERVICES SUNDAY FOR ROBERT LABRON

Funeral services were held from Richards Funeral home Sunday, for Robert LaBron of Winterset, whose death occurred March 30 at Memorial hospital here as result of injuries received in an automobile accident near Patterson.

The Rev. George D. Fisher, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, conducted the services. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Mr. LaBron was 67 years of age. He had been a resident of Winterset for about four years.

He was a native of Lancashire, England, where he was born Oct. 19, 1887, but most of his life had been spent in this country. He farmed near Alta for many years. After that he was employed at the Sargent Feed mill in Des Moines, and later operated a gasoline station near Lake Aquahbi, south of Indianola.

He was married at Spencer in 1919 to Florence Smith, who survives him. He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Alvar Lindberg of Winterset and Mrs. Dorothy Thorpe of Lincoln, Nebr.; two grandchildren; a brother, Harold LaBron of Alamo, Tex.; and a sister, Mrs. Walter Cobb of Yakima, Wash.
