Thursday, August 29, 1929Death of Mrs. Frank Sackett
Mrs. Frank Sackett of Des Moines, died Tuesday morning at the Oskaloosa hospital, after a day's illness. Mr. and Mrs. Sackett had been visiting at Pella when Mrs. Sackett was taken suddenly ill with bowel trouble. She was taken to the hospital at Oskaloosa and operated upon but she died Tuesday.
Mrs. Sackett was a sister of Mrs. W. J. Cornell and a former resident of Winterset. Mr. and Mrs. Cornell went to Des Moines Tuesday returning home Tuesday evening.
Funeral services will be held at the Dunn Funeral home in Des Moines this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Short services will be held at the Winterset cemetery this afternoon at 4 o'clock and burial will be made there.

Mrs. Frank Sackett Succumbs in Oskaloosa.
Mrs. Frank A. Sackett, 62, 516 Twenty-eighth street, died early Tuesday morning in a hospital at Oskaloosa following an emergency operation, according to word received here.
Mrs. Sackett had been visiting at Pella when she was taken ill and rushed to Oskaloosa. She was active in club work here, being member of the Des Moines chapter EH, of the P. E. O. and of the Travel club. She was also a member of the University Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters. Mrs. Gerald Wadsworth of Des Moines and Miss Harriett Sackett. employed by the government in Washington, D. C., by two sons. George, county attorney in Dallas county and living in Perry, and Wilber, of Spencer, la., and by a sister, Mrs. W. J. Cornell of Winterset, la.
The body is at Dunn's funeral home awaiting funeral arrangements.
