ROBERT A. HINDMAN DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Robert A. Hindman, formerly of the Pitzer community died May 3 in California, according to word received here this week. He was 72 years of age, and had been ill more than a year.

Mr. Hindman was born near Pitzer, a son of Bob and Liza Hindman. He lived in Madison county many years, but left here about 20 years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Lura; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Gibson; three sons, Wayne, Worth, and Loren Hindman; and six grandchildren. He was an uncle of Herman Shoff of Pitzer.

Funeral services were held May 7 at Inglewood, Calif., and burial was made there.
