Isaac Wesley Allen was born in Winterset March 30, 1863 and died at the Clarinda asylum September 27, 1902. He was the son of Isaac Allen, of Jefferson township. He leaves a wife and a five year old son. His remains were brought to Winterset and the funeral services were conducted at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Sophia Newton, by Rev. L. E. Follansbee, on Tuesday afternoon.
