Last week, word came to Earlham that George Lamar, of El Reno, Oklahoma, had committed suicide. Mr. Lamar spent the greater part of his life in Madison county and it was with deep regret that many learned of the sad ending of his life. his remains arrived at Earlham Friday and the funeral services were conducted by the Masonic order of which he was a member, Saturday afternoon.
Note: It is unlikely that they would ship his remains to Earlham and then bury him elsewhere but there is no record of his Madison County grave site.
