M. June Pearson, 67, of Champaign, Ill., died July 25, 2004 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 30, at Grace Lutheran Church in Champaign with Pastor Roger Digges officiating. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at Mittendorf-Calvert Funeral Home.
June Pearson was born May 24, 1937 in Lafayette, Ind., to Lawrence and Mabel (Finch) Weber of Ambia. She was a graduate of Ambia High School, College of DuPage and St. Mary of the Woods College in Indiana. June was past Regent of the Ft. Payne chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Naperville, Ill. She also was a member of the American Association of University Women, Champaign Garden Club, C-U Investment Club, Alliance chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Grace Lutheran Church, Miriam Circle and the genealogical societies of Iroquois County, Champaign and Fox Valley.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Leon.
She is survived by one son, Mark Pearson of Winterset; two daughters, Kay Haughey of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Sarah Garcia of Thornton, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.
