Oakley Butler Palmer, 93, died Feb. 18, 2005 in Savannah, Ga.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Feb. 20, in Mt. Vernon, Ga.
Oakley Palmer was a manufacturer of custom wheel chairs for many years in the Los Angeles area and owned and operated PalmCo, a tool and die concern. He also invented and patented many products during his lengthy career.
He is survived by his wife, Vera Palmer of Waycross, Ga.; one son, Clay Palmer of Carlsbad, Calif.; one daughter, Sallie Yonce of St. Charles; and five grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
