Winterset, IowaFORMER RESIDENT DIES IN DAKOTA
Mrs. Steve Brittain, member of a pioneer Madison county family, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Wahpeton, N. Dak. She was 85 years of age, and had been an invalid for several years.
Mrs. Brittain was a daughter of George and Katherine Mueller, pioneer residents of Jefferson township. She was born and spent her early life in this county.
Her husband died about 20 years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Murdoch of Lisbon, N. Dak., and Mrs. Nolan Basore of Spokane, Wash.; and two brothers, George F. Mueller of Williston, N. Dak., and C. O. Mueller of Lewiston, Mont.
Funeral services are to be held this Thursday at Lisbon, N. Dak.
