MRS. GEORGE STULTZ DIES

Mrs. George Stultz, well known resident of Winterset, died at her home on North First street,Thursday, January 4th. Mrs. Stultz, who was 70 years of age, had been in poor health the past month, but her condition was not regarded as critical, until a few hours before her death.

Mrs. Stultz who was the former Priscilla James, was born in England on December 31, 1870. When a young woman she lived in the west. She was married to Mr. Stultz, Winterset business man, in June, 1900, and since then she had made this community her home. Mr. Stultz died in November, 1933.

Mrs. Stultz was a member of the Methodist church, the Order of Eastern Star and the Priscilla club.

She is survived by her sister, Anna M. James and a brother, John H. James, both of Portland. She also leaves two step children, Fred Stultz of Britton, S. Dak., and Mrs. Vern Cummins of Winterset.

The Rev. J. R. McNichols conducted brief services for Mrs. Stultz Saturday afternoon at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home.

Mrs. Geo. Stultz Died Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. George Stultz, 70, who died in her home in the north part of town, Thursday evening, following several weeks of ill health, were held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 in the Ramsey-Richards funeral home.

The Rev. J. R. McNichols, pastor of the Methodist church, conducted the service. The body was cremated and the remains were taken to Portland, Oregon.

Mrs. Stultz was the daughter of Henry and Priscilla Stockwell James and was born in England Dec. 31, 1869.

She is survived by one sister, Miss Anna M. James of Portland, Oregon, and other relatives.
