THOMAS W. HARRISON DIES AT 28 YEARS

Thomas Wayne Harrison, 28 year old veteran of Creston, died last week after an extended illness. He was the son of Archie and Nora Harrison of Creston and a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Harrison of Winterset.

He was serving in the U. S. navy in World War II aboard the U.S.S. Wainwright when he was wounded in action. Although he had been home with his wife Doris and small daughter, he had been in poor health. In recent months, he had major operations at the Veterans hospital.

Funeral services were held at Cromwell and burial was made at Creston. C. B. Harrison, Edith Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. George Harrison and Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Sirdoreus attended the funeral services held Monday, Aug. 21.
