Bevington-(Special)-July 4th. Word was received here Monday of the death of J. H. Hall, former Bevington postmaster, who died at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines Monday morning of a cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Hall who was past 70 years of age, resigned as postmaster at Bevington six months ago on account of ill health. He had been the Bevington postmaster for twenty-four years. He was also manager of the lumber company there for a number of years.
Mr. Hall is survived by three daughters; Mrs. J. H. Pyers of Des Moines with whom he made his home, Mrs. Louis Reisen of Des Moines and Mrs. James Graham of Dexter.
Funeral services for Mr. Hall were held at the Holy Trinity church in Des Moines Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock.
