IDA MAE SOUDERS DIES

St. Charles--(Special)--July 8.--

Ida Mae Souders, well-known St. Charles resident, died at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines last Friday, July 5th, at the age of 56 years. Miss Souders had been in poor health for some time.

The deceased was a daughter of Alfred and Polly Souders and was born in St. Charles, June 6, 1884. Her parents and one sister have preceded her in death.

When a young girl Miss Souders united with the Church of Christ at Larmars, Mo., but on Feb. 22, 1902, she transferred her membership to the St. Charles church, where she has been a faithful member. Miss Souders had lived in St. Charles all of her life, with the exception of five years spent in Missouri.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Black of St. Charles, Mrs. Nettie Winkler of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Ollie Fisher of Wayne, Neb., and two brothers, William of Wayne, Neb. and Frank Souders of Villisca. She also leves seventeen nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
