Death of Frank Cram

Frank Cram, a Des Moines contractor, who had the contract for laying crushed rock on the Winterset streets, died Sunday, November 25th of heart disease at his home.

Mr. Cram was born in this county but had resided in Des Moines for the past thirty-five years where he established the contracting and sand and gravel firm of Frank Cram & Sons. During his years in business in Des Moines, Mr. Cram excavated basements for many large buildings including the Shrine temple, post office, Register building etc. He is survived by his wife, six daughters and four sons. Two of the sons, Clifford and Harry have assisted their father in his work on the city streets and on the contracts for work on Primaries No. 16 and No. 2.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 28th at 2:30 o'clock at the United Brethren church in Des Moines.
