DEATH CALLS MRS. HENRY WILKINSON

Winterset Resident Passes Tuesday After Illness of Two Weeks

Mrs. Henry Wilkinson, who was, in point of continuous residence here, was one of Winterset's oldest citizens, died at her home here Tuesday after a fatal illness of two weeks.

Mrs. Wilkinson was 73 years of age. She was born in Winterset and had spent all of her long life in this community.

She was the former Minnie A. Darnall, daughter of George and Elizabeth Darnall, and was born in Winterset on July 24, 1866. She was married to Henry Wilkinson, and they were the parents of three children. One son, George Wilkinson, was killed in France during the World war while serving with Company A of the 168th Infantry Regiment.

Mrs. Wilkinson was long an active member of the Winterset Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Clyde Wilkinson, Winterset druggist; one daughter, Mrs. Beulah Balch of Hyattsville, Md.; two brothers, S. Darnall of Winterset and John Darnall of Burlington; and five grandchildren.

Funerals services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Anderson funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong and the Rev. L. F. Davis. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
