Seldon Harold Quick was born at Winterset, Sept. 25, 1902, and departed this life at Detroit, Mich., March 14, 1920 at the age of 17 years, 5 months and 19 days.
Seldon was the third son of Ira and Ella Quick. His mother passed away Oct. 25, 1907 and Gail, the second son, died Nov. 18, 1913.
The family moved to Barney in the spring of 1907 and lived there until 1914 when they moved near Norwalk, living there until two years ago, when they moved to Richland, Mo., where they reside at the present time.
Seldon was a bright, intelligent boy, quick to make friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his father and stepmother, his brother, George whom he was with at the time of his death, and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
