Dale L. Addy, 67, of Boise, Idaho, died of cancer there May 7. No services will be held.

Mr. Addy was born in Union Township and had lived in Winterset, Boise, Los Angeles and Iowa before returning to Boise last year. He worked in the food-service industry as a maitre d' chef, doughnut maker and restaurant owner. He had catered for many years to the movie stars on location and at studios. He loved singing, dancing and had a talent for playing a tune by ear.

He is survived by two sons, Anthony of Des Moines and Dale of Palm Desert, Calif.; two daughters, Rebecca Addy of Westminster, Calif., and Deana Frampton of Huntington Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret.

Riverside Funeral Chapel in Boise is handling arrangements.
