MRS. OTTO KAHRE SUCCUMBED SUNDAY

Winterset Woman Died in Des Moines After Brief Illness

Mrs. Otto Kahre, a well-known Winterset woman, died at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines Sunday after a fatal illness of about a week. She was 56 years of age.

Mrs. Kahre was the former Ollie Roberts, daughter of C. A. and Eliza Roberts, and was born in Lee township on May 23, 1883. Practically all her life was spent in Madison county. As a girl she had united with the Methodist church. She was married, on Aug. 23, 1907, to Otto Kahre, who survives her.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her father, C. A. Roberts, of Des Moines; four brothers, George Roberts of Truro, Frank Roberts of Winterset; Mack Roberts of Ft. Dodge, and Joe Roberts of Glendale, Cal.; and two sisters, Mrs. S. B. Sutton of Des Moines and Mrs. V. E. Morris of Glendale, Cal.

Funeral services were scheduled to be held from Anderson's home for funerals on Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. J. H. McNichols pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
