Jack Mulvihill, 84, died peacefully with his family around him, May 23, 2007, in Tampa, Florida. Jack was the son of Katherine (Watts) and James Mulvihill, now deceased. He grew up in Madison County where he worked with his father on the farm.
Jack married Jane O'Rourke and raised three children in his grandmother's home (Julia) He and his family later moved to Tampa, Florida. His wife Jane died in 2005. Jack and his second wife Barbara have a daughter, who also lives in the Tampa area.
Jack was buried in Tampa. Surviving are his children, Ann Stone, Mike Mulvihill and Maureen Mulvihill, his wife, Barbara, daughter, Brenda Cooper (Jeff) and four grandchildren.
In addition, his sisters and brothers, Marikay Darnell, Suzanne Higdon, Dan Mulvihill (Mary), Mark Mulvihill (Jeanine) and Robert Mulvihill (Josetta), sister-in-law, Patricia Mulvihill. Preceding him in death were his sister, Sister Sheila Mulvihill and brother James J. Mulvihill,Jr.
The family prayer: Faithful God, whole life flows through all the seasons, bless this man. Breathe new life into Jack to renew and refresh his spirit. Warm him with cherished memories and delight him in the wisdom he shared. Be with Jack now as he opens his hands in a spirit of letting go. Let his heart hear the whispers of new voices and new learnings. May he know that he is loved. Gift Jack with peace and fill him with your radiant joy, Amen.

John Peter (Jack) Mulvihill, 84, of Tampa, Fla., died May 23, 2007, in Tampa, where he was buried.
Jack, the son of James and Katherine Mulvihill, grew up in Madison County where he worked with his father on the family farm. He married Jane O’Rourke and raised three children in his grandmother Julia’s home. He and the family later moved to Tampa. His wife Jane died in 2005. Jack and his second wife, Barbara, have a daughter, who also lives in the Tampa area.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James J. Mulvihill Jr., and a sister, Sister Sheila Mulvihill.
He is survived by his children, Ann Stone, Mike and Maureen; his wife, Barbara and daughter Brenda Copper; four grandchildren; two sisters, Marikay Darnell and Suzanne Higdon; and three brothers, Dan Mulvihill, Mark Mulvihill and Robert Mulvihill .
