Word has been received of the death in Council Bluffs, on the 8th inst., of Mrs. Mary Dillon, formerly of this city, where she lived for many years. Mrs. Dillon was a daughter of the late Dr. D. Hutchinson. Her husband, once a well known merchant of this city and later a grain dealer in Earlham, died at the latter place probably twenty-five years ago. They lost their oldest child at Earlham, and their other two daughters are both married. We do not know where they reside.

Northwest Grand RiverIn the account of the death of Mrs. Mary Dillon a mistake was made in regard to the two daughters. The youngest was never married and had been an invalid for years and died one month before her mother. Jud Hutchison’s wife died years ago and his sister has kept house for him.
