LOCAL – NEWS

Archie Arnold died at his home in this city Friday, the 11th inst. He was born in Des Moines, and at the time of his death was about twenty-four years of age. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon under the auspices of the labor union. The discourse was preached by Rev. L. E. Follansbee.

Archie Arnold Dead

Archie Arnold, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Arnold of this city, was born in Des Moines in 1877 and died at his home in this city Friday Oct. 11, 1901. He had survived three attacks of pneumonia which finally ran into that dreaded disease of consumption and carried him off. The funeral was held Sunday at his home at 2:30 conducted by Rev. L. E. Follansbee. He was a member of the Winterset Labor Union, which organization attended the funeral services in a body.
