Death of Mrs. Belle Peach

Mrs. Laura Belle Peach died at her home in the east part of Winterset, Wednesday morning October 16th. She had been in ill health for six weeks and had been critically ill the past week.

She was over 79 years of age, being born in Maryland, January 20, 1850. She came to this county with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Welch, when she was a small child. They first lived west of Winterset and later resided between here and Peru. She and Mr. Peach (Moston W. Peach) were married 60 years ago and Mr. Peach died July 20, 1900.

Mrs.Peach is survived by her son, Walter, of Pueblo, Colorado and five daughters; Mrs. Elma Soderland, Mrs. Irene Hoots and Mrs. Laura Gregory of Des Moines and Mrs. Frank Gregory and Miss Elsie Peach of Winterset.

The Rev. A. P. Keast, pastor of the Methodist church will conduct the funeral services at the Winterset church Friday morning, October 18th at 10:30 o'clock and burial will be in the Winterset cemetery.
